In a world that's dead and gone,
Where what exists does not
And people are shells of who they were,
Many a battle were fought
For the glory and pride of one's self,
To prove to world and naught
That they could fend off any evil
Which ill tidings had brought.
Untrue were their beliefs
That they were an undying breed,
Always charging at the enemy
And falling at their feet,
Piling upon numbers steadily by day,
But always trampled unceasing after dark
When no longer light would stay,
Until one day it ended
And all those that were left
Of this immortal scourge
Were left to scour all of the earth
With no heart left in their chest
Oh how the weather changes
When you are not by my side,
Where the sunny days cloud over
And the thunder starts to sigh,
Lightning shortly following
To light the darkened sky,
With rain pelting down
From lofty heaven high.
Those moments where you're gone,
No matter what their size,
Whether large or small,
Doubt begins to rise
About what you say of me
And if by chance its lies
For my own heart says many things
That contradicts your tries
At telling me I'm wonderful
And that your heart flies
At the sight of me
When mine own dies.
In those moments that you're there,
I always understand
And all my worries float away

Does anyone know? Does anyone care? I wonder what they see. Do they see me as the villain or some vigilante? Am I the darkness or the light? I could always make things easier, I could always help them out, but it wouldn't be as fun that way. Where's the death, the destruction, the mayhem? Why must there always be happy endings? How about more blood to fill the streets. People killing people is an art. Painting with blood and writing with it too, that's what history really is. Everything that means something came out of death, why not make another piece of history? They can all try to hide, but not all of them will survive. Slowly I'll pick th
Just turn around,
Cease to look
Upon the scenes before you.
Take in hand
And cast the dice
That will soon control your life.
Lose control,
Cover your eyes,
Shut your mouth and ears,
Don't try to hold
Or grasp a reality
That will hinder dreams.
Break and crash,
Throw away your mirrors,
No longer see yourself.
No more flaws
Or improvements,
Just listen to your peers.
Don't stop the movement
And just keep walking,
Blind your eyes
To streets and needs,
Block out the alley screams.
Sit down and glaze your eyes,
Lights flicker,
Cease to blink,
Stop your thoughts,
No need to think.
Life no longer flows,
Skipping here and
Raise your head,
Look around,
Stop staring at your feet
In shame
Or insecurity,
Be brave,
Take a breath
And release
The death grip.
New faces,
You keep searching
For something familiar,
Imagining a friend,
Then flicker
And they're gone,
Non-existent,
Just your mind
Playing awful tricks.
Keep your eyes open,
Don't close them yet,
Watch your step,
The ground
Consumes you again,
Drawing your attention
From the alien world
Growing up
All around you.
This is home now,
No friends
Or family
To hold your hand
Or build your path,
It's your turn
To set the stones
And move on,
Pushing through
This twisted place
That
Everything's in a daze now
And my mind is almost gone,
All those memories lost
In a void's clutching fingers
And thoughts draining
Into the vacuumed abyss,
Only to create this blankness
Of white that exists.
It's always so lonely
When everything's gone,
All the fighting voices
And fleeting images that whiz by,
The sound effects that linger,
Dreams to devise,
But now that's all gone,
Leaving emptiness and
Space.
There is nothing that is left,
Not even me,
For surely if my brain has fled
So should I have followed,
Leaving this shell
Until the darkness comes
And those eyes flutter closed,
Numbing the body,
Spirit
And so
Arriba planea
Con ramaje tuvieron alto
Y todo los pájaros
Con ellos nidos
Duermen dulcemente
En la noche
No temen nada
Porque el arbol
Guarda ellos seguro,
Donde
No par una sombra
Puede alcanzar ellos.

Sometimes, in the dark and deep,
Not-quite shadows not-quite creep.
Out of sight and out of mind,
We try to leave the dark behind.
But these old bars, they will not break,
Our past is heavy, so it takes,
Our lives of old, so weak and weary,
Gives us darkness, always dreary.
And so we lay, down in the muck,
Always moving; always stuck.
All our prayers have missed their mark,
As we wallow in the dark.
